Amazon Exclusive TCL 560 with Eye-Verification Launched for Rs.7,999

TCL, the Chinese electronic giant has entered into the Indian market with the launch of its Android based 4G Smartphone TCL 560. The event was held on 3rd of July in Delhi and we also got a chance to witness it.

There are more than 1 billion cell phone users in India out of which 20-30% use smart phone. Most of the people stay away from such phone as they cannot afford them. TCL has launched its smart phone at a very low price which can divert the greatest crowd towards it. This phone is equipped with advanced features and delivers satisfactory performance.

Although TCL 560 is an excellent combination of best in class features and stylish looks, but would it be able to impress Indian consumers? Let’s look at the functionalities of this phone and find out.

Looks & Design

The TCL 560 has a thin plastic body with aluminium finishing on the back with a removable cover. Nicely curved edges give a sophisticated slim look to the phone. It has a power button and volume rockers on the right side and audio jack at the top. Thickness of the phone is 7.99mm and weight is 156 grams. The phone has a large 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 resolution. Full Lamination technology is used to while making the screen to cut the air between glasses which results in clear display and reduced display noise.

Specifications and Performance

TCL 560 runs on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and powered by 1.1Ghz quad core processor for fast and smooth performance during multitasking. The phone includes 16GB internal memory which can be expanded through a MicroSD card along with 2GB of RAM. There are many phones in the market that offer more, but they are more expensive too, compare to this phone.

The phone supports Micro SIM technology and has dual slots so that users can put two SIMs at a time. The phone offers some more exciting features such as an eye scanner sensor to unlock the phone quickly by scanning the iris of the user. Apart from that it has ‘One Touch Music App’ to stream online music with ease and inbuilt amazon kindle app to read books online. The graphical display is up to the mark and this phone is packed with many games as well.

Camera

The TCL 560 comes with an 8 Mega Pixel Auto Focus rear camera with single LED flash which works fine in a day light but doesn’t give a detailed view in the dark. The phone has a 5 Mega Pixel front shooter with a wide viewing angle of 84.4 degree and front flash light which makes it more desirable than other smart phones of similar range. If we talk about the image quality then they were clear while taking pictures and shooting a video.

Battery and Connectivity

One thing that can really impress anyone is the connectivity part of TCL 560 as it supports 4G LTE and VoLTE and compete with the next generation technology. The phone is capable to catch signals at low-frequency as well, so it is suitable for those who face regular network issues or stay in a remote area where cell phone signals are always weak.

The other quality of the phone is its powerful 2500mAh battery which doesn’t look so impressive on paper, but the company claims that it supports Standby time of up to 525 hours on 2G, 500 hours on 3G and 480 hours on 4G networks.

The phone is priced at Rs. 7999. It is available exclusively on Amazon.in from 5th July 2016. To offer excellent service TCL has tie-up with more than 400 service centers in the entire country.
